Alice’s Prayers (blue journal)

Great Spirit I thank you for all your blessings.
That I am loved and that I find so much love in my own heart.
To feel love is the best feeling of all.
Thanks to you I have been granted this.
 The birds who sing very loudly in the morning
Just now let out a chorus.  Thank you for my ability to hear,
To see, to walk, to drive, to swim, to smile.  To feel pleasure,
to have patience, to feel the suffering of others.  I am yours,
everything
I know I learn from you.

Love, if it is love, never goes away.
It is embedded in us,
like seams of gold in the earth,
Waiting for light,
