Out of the fullness
Of a grateful 
Heart
And in absolute
Awe
of the power
Of Love
I have experienced
With
Marley (age 13)
And Surprise
(maybe 5)
I have
With their
Consent
I am sure
Called
This Ceremony
Of commitment
Of Sacred
And
Everlasting
Union.

It is my
Intention
Be
The protector,
Counselor
And guardian,
Their beloved
&  devoted
Human,
All the
Rest
Of their
Days;
To live
And love
With them
Freely,
In the
Resonate
Bliss
We
Have
Created
So
Splendidly
Together.

I call
On all
Our friends
Two leggeds
& four leggeds
& maybe
Winged
To witness
This
Intention
& to bear
The word
To all
Who may
Inquire
Should
I be
Absent
That
These Beings
Are to receive
Priority
In care,
In love,
In shelter
And
All things
That make
Them
Happy. Forever.

My love
For them
Is
Boundless
As theirs
For me
Is
Palpable.

Words cannot
Express
This place
Understanding.

I bow
To them
For their
Teaching
Of it
To me.
